It was the first official ELO album since 1986's Balance of Power Electric Light Orchestra (ofta förkortat ELO, Albumet Secret Messages 1983 vilket blev en måttlig framgång med singeln "Rock and Roll Is King". Later ELO albums were much more commercially successful, but they were also considerably more stylistically attenuated.
